The Sacred Kiss
The Sacred Kiss prayerformance is an example of a tangible experience of unconditional love that is offered as an activity in the XoX Temple.
Each participant is held and kissed (non-sexual) with complete acceptance & tenderness by volunteers who have attended a Sacred Kiss mini-workshop or Evolution of the Heart workshop. During the kisses, the participant hears a guided meditation (see below) read out loud by another volunteer.
This beautiful experience is part performance art & part energy healing. It offers both the giver and receiver a tangible heart-opening experience. It is a powerful way to experience immediate connection and deep compassion for anyone – friend or stranger. It has been taught and shared with hundreds of people since 2006 at diverse venues such as the Goddess Gatherings, Vancouver Car-Free Festival, Burn In the Forest Festival, Entheos Festival, Occupy Vancouver, Rumi Night with Andrew Harvey, Sistahood Festival at VanCity Theatre…
