Make Your Own Custom Body Form
with Professional FX Artist Keith Arbuthnot
Your body form is shaped exactly in your size and proportions so you can easily style, sew and design clothing to FIT YOU perfectly.
The creativity and possibilities are endless!
Also, with your custom body form, you won’t need the aid of a second set of hands when making precise alterations.
In this 2-day workshop with professional artist
Keith Arbuthnot:
1) You will learn a quick and affordable way to make a functional body casting of yourself.
2) You will build a working, lightweight and usable 3D copy of your physical body for all your creative costuming or tailoring needs!
What the Body Form Is Comprised Of:
~ a combination taping and support structure materials
~ a lightweight two-part foam core
~ a PVC frame with a base
You can choose to finish the product with whatever top coating or covering you like at a later date.
When done right one of these body forms can last for years and is invaluable to both crafters and pros alike.
Limited capacity for this special workshop as each person will receive hands-on training and have a body form done.
Workshop dates: Saturday and Sunday May 24th and 25th
Location: Studio East 1480 Frances St
Time: 10am-6pm both days
Cost: $350 per person.

About the Artist:
Keith Arbuthnot has been a performer, puppeteer, prop builder and costumer for over 20 years.
He originally trained in theatre as an actor and has hade a satisfying career in theatre, television and film ever since.
He is also a skilled make-up effects technician and has had the pleasure of working on such projects as Sanctuary, Almost Human and Underworld 4. He was also the Costume effects lead for the Model Shop on Stargate SG-1,Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe for nearly seven years.
Keith received a Leo Award for Best Make-up on the short film Death Wish in 2011. Some of his most recent work includes the roles of the many Skitters on Falling Skies including Red Eye and the Rebel Leader as well as others characters yet to be seen.
He is very grateful to be doing what he loves in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
