With your voice as your guide and your body as your instrument, relax into a process of rhythmic stepping,
clapping and vocal chanting. Discover your own path to stillness within movement and silence within sound.
Experience the joy and vitality of group singing and the transformative power of chaos,
while learning to be at ease with uncertainty. No musical experience is necessary.
Brian and Shasta are the first facilitators and teachers of this groundbreaking healing rhythm work in Canada.

Tribal Prayer with Navaro Franco
You are invited to come and be part of a Tribal Rhythm Prayer. 2 Chants with sacred drumming
will ground our Commercial Drive Village, and Drive Fest Healing Garden in the 4 directions,
the Within, the Above and the Below, embodying and calling forth the energies of Earth, Consciousness, and Cosmos.
Navaro Franco's student ensemble is joined by her current student body. This drum community will play sacred music
from the Yoruba Orixa tradition in West Africa and Afro-Brazil, in the tribal way of invoking and grounding energies with chant and rhythm.
Navaro offers weekly drum classes to a diverse community in the Commercial Drive area at Open Door Yoga's studio on Venables.
She performs with Drum Prayers at mainstage at Drive Fest 5-6pm with Drum Prayers.

Pepe Danza & Ocean of Sound
All being is vibration and light. All sounds are a manifestation of internal intentions and consciousness.
Local Commercial Drive world musician Pepe Danza is well known for his drumming,
but is also a gifted multi-instrumentalist with a deep interest in meditation, yoga, and healing through sound.
With Pepe's Ocean Of Sound, the listener is taken on a journey across time, countries, era's, and genre's into their own heart.
Crystal bowls, melodic instruments, and much other magical music will be shared.
Come sit in the Playshop Temple and be transported and transformed by Pepe's intentional music.
Pepe offers a monthly house concert called Ocean of Sound with ever changing themes.

Kirtan with Spirit Voice Singalong
An intimate gathering where we share the gift of our spirit with devotional singing in various forms of music,
from modern songs to Kirtan chants. Guitar and percussion accompanies. All are welcome.
