Little Woo

Talk title: From Survival Mode to Sacredness

Little Woo will look at how we behave in survival mode and how we behave in Sacred mode. Both are deeply human experiences which unleash very different powers but many are disconnected from their Sacred Self. Learn how this can lead to depression, addiction or materialism whereas reconnection leads to deep healing, higher purpose and creative magic!

Bio: As a mentor & teacher, Little Woo helps people heal themselves and the planet by developing their most loving and creative self. Her introductory program is “Magical Human 101: Learning the 4 Arts of Happiness” and she hosts a podcast called “The Magic of Compassion” with practical tips on how empathy can lead to higher action. Jillian Deri

Talk title: Compersion: The Art of Joyful Presence

After completing my book, Love’s Refraction: Jealousy and Compersion in Queer Polyamorous Relationships, I have turned my attention to the ways we can inspire compersion within our friendships, communities as well as following break-ups. Compersion is the art of taking pleasure in the pleasure of others, wishing people well, connecting deeply and is best articulated through joyful presence. I will present on ways to strengthen care and joyful dynamics within our transformative & sex-positive communities.

Bio: Jillian Deri is the author of Love’s Refraction; Jealousy and Compersion in Queer Women’s Polyamorous Relationships. She has been lecturing in Gender & Women’s Studies at University of British Columbia Okanagan.

We look forward to seeing you and geeking out together!
